I'm Tracey Connell, the artist behind Spacey Ace Studio. My work celebrates the people, wildlife, and landscapes that remind us what resilience looks like. From trailblazing women of the American West and Native leaders to desert birds and rugged landscapes, every collection tells a story of grit, hope, and the quiet strength it takes to keep going.

After more than 30 years as a registered nurse, I've seen how ordinary people face extraordinary challenges every day. Those experiences changed the way I see the world. They also changed the way I paint. I'm drawn to stories of perseverance because I've witnessed firsthand that courage isn't usually loud—it often looks like showing up, doing the next right thing, and refusing to give up.

My faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of both my life and my work. I believe creativity reflects the heart of our Creator, and that beauty has the power to encourage, heal, and remind us that hope is never wasted.

When I'm not in the studio, you'll usually find me on our small family farm caring for chickens, growing vegetables, or finding inspiration in the wide-open landscapes of the American West.

My hope is that every painting is more than something beautiful to hang on a wall. I want it to be a reminder that resilience leaves its mark—that your hard work is seen, your story matters, and that the ordinary can become legendary.
