Food Chain Allies
16 x 20” | Mixed Media on Canvas
What if survival wasn’t about domination — but cooperation?
In Food Chain Allies, natural competitors share the same space beneath a blazing sun. An eagle spreads its wings wide while resting atop a polar bear, surrounded by crashing waves, orcas, and distant penguins. Predators. Powerhouses. Icons of strength. And yet — here, they exist in balance.
Set against a vivid crimson sky and glowing yellow sun, the composition is intentionally bold and confrontational. The color palette demands attention, while layered mixed media textures create movement in the water and dimension in the feathers and fur. Strength is still present — but it’s not at war.
This piece reimagines the hierarchy of the wild. It invites the viewer to consider a world where competitors collaborate for survival rather than fight for dominance.
Power doesn’t have to destroy.
It can protect. It can partner. It can endure.
